First, we love you! Thank you for all you do, every single day. Miriam and I are teachers too, so we get. it. We write our books for all of our children—our families at home, and the families we have at school and in the classrooms.
Rad American Women A-Z and Rad Women Worldwide are perfect for Common Core-aligned lessons, and have endless classroom potential for a range of grade levels. Click here for a Common Core Companion Guide for Rad American Women A-Z!
From preschool teachers all the way through college professors—we’ve heard from so many great educators who are finding ways to present the Rad Women books to their students. Got a great lesson plan? Get in touch and tell us about it!
A rad 4th grade class at Glenview Elementary in Oakland!
During the 2015/16 school year, we visited over 40 elementary schools, middles schools, high schools, colleges, and libraries. We love visiting classrooms and getting students excited about Rad Women. We’re experienced educators who are happy and comfortable with all ages. We are currently booking school and library visits for the 2016/17 school year, for dates beginning after Thanksgiving (we are on book tour before then with very limited availability), and are available for smaller in-class readings and discussions as well as larger assemblies and art demos. We’re based in the Bay Area, but if you’re outside of the area and want to bring us in, let’s talk!
